How to do online function?
You can do online functions with the Softdog.Without Softdog, many important special functions are not supported.
These functions are:
1.1 AU-DI A6/Q7 key learning
1.2 AU-DI A6/Q7 VIN writing
1.3 AU-DI A4/A5/A6/A8/Q5/Q7 component protection
1.4 AU-DI A8, VW Touareg KESSY adaptation
1.5 V-W MED17 EEPROM reading

When obtaining authorization, operate by following the next steps:
Step 1. Connect the Softdog to FVDI 2015. Do not connect Softdog to the computer, otherwise the Softdog green light or red light will on, and result in authorization fail.
Step 2. Use USB cable to connect FVDI 2015 and the computer, but do not connect FVDI 2015 to the car. Wait until FVDI 2015 green light on and Softdog red light on, you succeed getting authorization. If FVDI 2015 red light on or Softdog green light on, repeat the above steps.
After get authorization for FVDI 2015, follow the next steps to connect.
Step 1. Connect the Softdog to FVDI 2015 (Note: do not connect Softdog to the computer).
Step 2. Use USB cable to connect FVDI 2015 and the computer. Wait until FVDI 2015 green light on and Softdog red light on, connect Softdog USB cable to the computer. During the procedure, the Softdog red light keeps on(Note: do not connect FVDI 2015 to the car)
Step 3. Till the above 2 steps work well, connect FVDI 2015 to the car.
How to use the Dongle (Internet connection required)
1. Run "ABRITES Quick Start"
Click quick link icon on desktop and open ABRITES quick loader.
Click vehicle icon, an "Dongle" icon appears in the right-bottom corner of desktop (tray bar).
When icon appears, the Dongle software is running.
3. Connect the Dongle to computer
4. Run commander
5. If tip "connect TAG programmer" appears
Since the Dongle and TAG key programmer connect to the same one port of AVDI, you cannot use them at the same time.
When tip "connect TAG programmer" appears, you must plug out the Dongle from port and plug in TAG key programmer. After you finish programming transponder,,plug in FLY dongle as soon as possible.
